EMILY CLARK (Emily Jordan, Drama) is proud to be the inspiration for Slightly Dramatic. Based off her semi-autobiographical cabaret show, of the same name, and co-authored by Ryan Scott Oliver, Slightly Dramatic has been performed in New York City (The Laurie Beechman Theatre, D-Lounge) and Los Angeles (The Complex, Sterling’s Upstairs at Vitello’s, Skinny’s Lounge, and Caffeinated Cabaret). Emily founded The Unknown Artists in 2007, where she has worn many hats, including actor, director, music director, and producer. Emily has worked frequently with the Ovation Award winning Chance Theater, as well as Sacred Fools Theatre, Theatre at Boston Court, Mechanicals Theatre Group, and Shakespeare Santa Cruz. Artistic Director of The Unknown Artists, Pasadena Musical Theatre Program’s Junior Company Director, and Performing Arts Teacher at Sierra Madre Middle School. Emily is a graduate of UC Santa Cruz (B.A. Theatre, History), the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, and has studied with Shakespeare Santa Cruz, and the Upright Citizens Brigade.
