Jen Viens is a Montreal-based actor originally hailing from Vancouver. She has been working in the industry for over 16 years and has training in comedy, physical theatre, and on-camera technique, to name a few.
Her experience ranges from stage, to the large and small screen, to live, totally improvised sketch comedy. Some of Jen’s past projects include Twilight: New Moon, the award winning short Date in Time, The Importance of Being Earnest (Theatre), Handsome Devils (TV), Helix (TV). Jen is currently collaborating with a talented team of designers on a one woman show entitled ‘The Passage’ which saw it’s debut at the Shortstanding Festival of Short Performances.
Jen has been a member of the Straeon studio for 3 years, and she is proud of the fact that she has been described as “The Love Child of Tina Fey & Amy Poehler”. She also has an unhealthy addiction to Kettle Corn.
